Prerequisites |
To enroll students need a university bachelor degree in one of the natural sciences or technologies. Deficiencies can be overcome in a bridging pre-master programme.
Introduction 1 |
The programme is a combination of advanced level science and technology subjects and education and science communication subjects. One half of the programme (60 EC) covers Science and technology subjects, the other half focus on either science communication or education (Dutch teacher education programme). The programme as a whole enables students to integrate both domains. This is especially relevant in the final research thesis.
Introduction 2 |
International students can only enroll in the Science Communication track.
Introduction 3 |
The science and technology part of the programme requires students to make a selection out of many subjects. This needs to be done in close co-operation with the programme's co-ordinator. The student's proposal needs approval from the Examination Board.
Program Goals |
The overall goal of the programme is to produce excellent professionals and researchers in both the fields of science and technology, as well as science education and science communication.
